1. What Aktio holds about you
Aktio stores two kinds of data that can be tied to you as a person: your Aktio user account (email address, name, profile picture and view preferences), and the authorisations you have granted to third-party platforms, such as a Meta or Google access token together with the platform’s identifier for your user. Advertising and sales data imported through a connection belongs to the company account it was imported into; it describes campaigns and orders, not you.
If you are a customer or a lead of a company that uses Aktio, that company controls your data. Please contact it directly; see section 5 of the privacy policy.
2. Removing the Meta connection
In Aktio
Open the company account, go to Integrations → Meta Ads and choose Delete on the connection. Aktio removes the connection and deletes the stored access token, unless another connection in your account still uses it. Tick the option to also delete the data from the connection if you want the advertising data imported through it removed as well.
In Facebook
Go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find Aktio.io and choose Remove. Meta notifies Aktio, and Aktio deletes the stored access token and every Meta connection linked to your Facebook user. The same happens when you use Meta’s option to ask Aktio to delete your data: Aktio processes the request and returns a confirmation code to Meta, which shows it to you.
What is deleted, and what is not
- Deleted: the access token, the link between your Facebook user and Aktio, and the connection records.
- Not deleted automatically: campaign and spend figures already imported into the company account. They describe the ad account, not you, and belong to the company. An administrator of that account can delete them in Aktio, under Integrations → Meta Ads, by deleting the connection together with its data or by clearing the connection’s data.
3. Google and other platforms
Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, TikTok, LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft Ads, HubSpot and the other integrations are disconnected the same way, on the Integrations page of the company account. Deleting a connection removes it and the stored credential, and you can choose to delete the imported data at the same time.
You can also revoke Aktio’s access on the platform’s side, for Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions. This stops Aktio from reading any further data. To remove the connection record from Aktio as well, delete the connection in Aktio or write to us.
4. Deleting your Aktio user account
Your user is removed from a company account by that account’s administrator or by Genero. To have your user account and its data deleted entirely, email tietosuojavastaava@genero.fi, preferably from the address the account uses, and name the company account. We verify the request, delete the account data and confirm by email. We respond within the time limits set by the GDPR, normally within one month.
AI assistants you have connected can be disconnected at any time in your Aktio settings, under Claude / MCP access.
5. Website visitors and demo requests
Cookies set by aktio.io can be deleted in your browser, and your consent choice can be changed under “Cookie settings” in the footer. To have a demo request or other correspondence deleted, email tietosuojavastaava@genero.fi.
6. Contact
Requests by email: tietosuojavastaava@genero.fi. By post: Genero Oy Ab, Business ID 2387598-5, Risto Rytin tie 33, 00570 Helsinki, Finland.
Please tell us which email address and which company account the request concerns and, for a request made through Meta, the confirmation code if you have one.
